Why wear shoes? The cushioning provided by gymastics shoes helps to prevent injuries due to the stress caused by repetitive impact on the feet and legs. These injuries include strains, sprains, Achilles Tendonitis and Osgood-Schlatter Syndrome. Gymnastics shoes are also an excellent way to promote good hygiene in the gym and avoid problems with foot viruses.
