Zip Line Information
If you would like to build a Zip Line cable ride for your back yard, play area or special adventure location, Outdoor Fun Store can get you parts to do the job. We have helped adventurous individuals with the installation of over 600 zipline projects in United States, United Kingdom, France, Guam, Australia, Canada and Guatemala.

Building a zipline trolley ride is more Art than Science. You need to understand the mechanical and safety aspects of zip line construction. When you order a zip line kit from Outdoor Fun Store you can get an installation tip sheet.

If you live in the Detroit area and would like us to install your zip line for you, we provide that service. Custom installation starts at $350. Price for complete installation will depend on the materials required and complexity of your situation. If you live outside the Detroit area, we can get cable and hardware for you. Discuss your zip line installation with a zip line consultant.
Tire used as Zip Line Brake
We recommend you use stainless steel aircraft cable (7x19) with stainless steel thimbles and clamps. Purchase safety equipment and seats to add variety to your Zip Line system (sometimes called Flying Fox). If you use the right components, it's easy and quick to swap items or remove for secure storage.
